All directions are given from the front of car looking at the rear
- Remove belt around alternator and power steering pump by using the tensioner.
- Remove the three 13 mm bolts holding power steering pump bracket in.
Two on the front left:
One behind it and straight up. (Don’t remove the two on the actual pump)
I supported the power steering pump like this : (you can also slip it back on the front bracket supports)
- Remove this cover with a small flathead screwdriver:
Remove the T45 torx bolt inside
- Remove the two 16mm alternator bolts:
One on top (your pulley will be out of the way):
One on bottom:
Remove the voltage regulator plug on the back first with a screwdriver
Remove the charge wire from the back of the alternator with a 17 mm open ended wrench
